Up Was A Downer

I must say that I was overly excited about seeing this new Pixar film in 3D. I am an avid follower of these animated pictures, along with the 4-8 year old population in this world.

My friend Chelsea and I had seen Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D recently, and it was AH-MA-ZING. So, after talking about how great it was over and over and over again, Tanner decided he would go with me to this movie.

Although there were some hilarious parts in which I laughed out loud, I feel I cried an equal amount. The story line is very creative but also down right depressing.

But, I am still a follower. I'll be looking forward to one of my all-time favorite animations coming out this summer, Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs! Scrat the Squirrel (to the left) is the best!

Our lovely friends, Katie and Travis, have a dog named Call that reminds me of Scrat! See the resemblance?

This is them with their beautiful baby Bryce! She is 4 months now but soon to be crowned the next Miss America.

Adventures in Babysitting

So the other night, Tanner and I got a chance to babysit! Our friends Brian and Jami (Brian is in my class) have a little girl, Madison, and a son, Jack. They are extremely PRECIOUS and CUTE! Brian used to be concerned that Madison was scared of dogs, but he doesn't have to worry about that any longer....check out the pics of her watching Aladdin with Spencer! We found out quickly that parenting is harder than it looks! We hope they get to come back soon, Brian and Jami!

I love my brother!

Yay! So apparently my title is centered now! I'm learning slowly but surely!

Shout out to my younger brother Clint for being my first follower! He is moving to Austin soon to begin law school. We are very proud of him!

Dear Clint,
Can't wait to paint/decorate your condo!
Love, Candace

And God said, "Let there be Lights........"

I cannot believe I finally figured out to work this thing. It isn't as easy as it looks. The computer skills required to make a presentable page are way above my knowledge. So for now, you must stare at my off-centered title since I haven't figured out how to stick it in the middle! Anyways.....

We are Candace and Tanner! However, I suspect you will be only seeing posts from me since Tanner isn't much into spending a lot of time on the computer. We were married almost a year and a half ago! Hard to believe! We enjoy (or at least I do) our 2 cats and 2 dogs: Owen, Quincy, Deacon, and Spencer. Pictures to come! I wanted a way for our family and friends to be able to keep up with us since life keeps us quite busy these days. Tanner is a golf course superintendent, and I am a fourth, yes fourth-hallelujah, year dental student. Almost there! I hope you just love our blog! I will try to keep it interesting......... :)
